Most of my work involves photographing people so it is nice now and again to photograph something static! I find architectural photography-shooting buildings, interiors and exteriors, very therapeutic. I like the stillness and precision of the process. Assessing viewpoints and then setting up a tripod, it is a very considered and methodical exercise. I love working with the weather, waiting for the light to move or change in order to show the building at its best. I now possess a CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) Yellow Card having passed the CITB Operatives Health, Safety and Environment Test. The test demonstrates that I am aware of the relevant Health & Safety issues when working on a construction site.
